The call from the Lord to adore His Real Presence in the Eucharist. By your affirmative answer you have become a member of a distinct group of people. People whose love for the Lord is expressed in an hour of adoration and powerful praise. By saying yes to Him, who invited you, you join the line of people that stretches through the centuries, from the stable in Bethlehem in the company of the angels, shepherds, and Magi through all of history to this day. This mystical union of ages and adoring souls has sustained the very heart of the Church.

Perpetual Adoration is the giving of your time to the Lord; it lasts for as long as your love for Jesus lasts. For such a commitment the graces and blessings that will be bestowed on you and your loved ones will be abundant in this life and beyond measure in the next.

We are aware of the busy schedule that you have and the commitments that life places on you. We are grateful that you have chosen to make the Eucharistic Presence of Jesus a priority in your life, and have made an Oasis for Him in the midst of your chaotic pace of life.

As a faithful Catholic who is on the pilgrimage of life, a commitment like yours is a sign of how strong our Faith is, and our belief in the power of prayer, silence and adoration in the Presence of the Eucharistic Lord. This giving of your time will remind us all of how He, the Master, gives His all for us. Perpetual Adoration will also help us to stay focused on the important events in our journey through life.

May He who is ever present, bless you, protect you, and may Our Most Holy Mother, Mary, under Her title of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, draw you ever closer to Her Son in His Real Presence in the Eucharist.

• Your commitment to adore is a blessing from the Lord.
• Please sign-in the register / time-table each time you come to adore. Click here to mark your commitment online (in advance) or directly in the register. It is important that each hour be covered. The Blessed Sacrament must never be left alone. (You are the committed Adorer and Guardian of the Eucharist at your hour.)
• The procedure to follow when you cannot make it to the chapel at your assigned time: a) Contact the people who are assigned to adore at the same hour you are. (Let them know you will not be there.) b) If this fails you should try to get a substitute. c) If you cannot get a substitute you should contact the JY House In-charge.
• Pray ! Pray ! Pray ! For the Pope, the Church; Our Priests and Vocations; The Family and the Right to Life; Our Country and Our Leaders; and that which weighs heavily on your heart.
• Read ! Read ! Read ! Increase your spiritual reading. Use the library in the JY House, when not praying in the chapel.
• Encourage others to sign-up for adoration … even to become occasional adorers.
• Write your prayer requests in our “Intercession Book”.
• Write your testimonial of favors received in our “Testimonials” book. (Every now and then a testimonial may be published. You never need to sign your name.)

• Kneel and bow when you enter and exit from the chapel.
• Be mindful of proper, respectful clothing.
• No talking in the chapel. Maintain an austere reverence in the presence of our Lord. If you need to talk to someone in the chapel, leave the chapel and hold your conversation outside.
• No spontaneous unscheduled events or sermonizing is allowed. Adoration is a peaceful, private time for each adorer. Please inform the JY House In-charge before conducting group prayers, and mark on the time-table.
• Never eat or drink in the chapel. Chewing gum or candy is not respectful either.
• No radios, No CD or tape players and No cellular phones are to be used in the chapel.
• No bags are to brought into the chapel.
• Only prayer books and Bibles can be read in the chapel. All other spiritual reading should be done outside the chapel.
• Silence should be kept in the outside hall to ensure that a prayerful atmosphere is maintained in the house.
• Bibles and hymn books is never to be removed from the chapel.
• No material of any kind is to be placed in the chapel unless authorized by the JY House In-charge.
• The chapel telephone is only to receive prayer requests.

• This is the House of our Lord. Help us in keeping the JY House clean and tidy.
• Help us to make the chapel beautiful, by bringing fresh flowers.
• Help us in cutting down expenses by switching off the lights/fans/AC when not required, and by conserving water.
• Please contact the JY House In-charge to contribute with your tithe to meet the expenses of the JY House.

Everday during the common prayer timings, everyone in the JY House come together for prayer.

• 7.00 am Morning prayer
• 3.00 pm Divine Mercy
• 8.00 pm Rosary (outside grotto)
• 8.30 pm Intercession

Holy Mass is celebrated at JY House every Saturday at 5.00 pm.
